Students have a choice of the level of competition:
Minor League (friendly & slow pitch) or Major League (competitive & fast pitch)
After April break into May - PE stations
Volleyball (indoors) or Kickball (outdoors)
Basketball (indoors) or throwing and catching with trainer softballs and gloves (outdoors)
Soccer
T-Choulk Ball
Four Square
Ultimate Frisbee
Two weeks before April break - post fitness testing Day 1: Push Up and Curl Up tests Day 2: PACER test Day 3: Make up tests
**Anyone who does not make up a missed test will not receive full credit. Students are well aware that making up tests is their personal responsibility. PE teachers are available to administer make ups tests any day before school - even after April break**
End of March into April - Volleyball
Skills: setting, bumping, spiking, blocking, serving, rotating properly, keeping score correctly, applying rules correctly in a game, communication
March - Basketball
Skills: bounce and chest passing, figure 8 dribbling, jump shooting, free throws, layups, being active on offense and defense in a game
Students have choice of the level they want to play when it comes to playing a game:
NBA (highly competitive, faster) or College (more friendly competition, slower pace)
February (rest of the month) - Rahi ball
Skills: throwing, catching, moving to create open space for offense, active hands and feet on defense, collaboration, communication
End of January into Feb - Hockey
Skills: how to hold a hockey stick, passing, trapping, stick handling, shooting to score, goal tending, and face offs
Safety instructions: The stick must be kept as close to the ground as possible, below the knee, at all times. Slap shots are not allowed. Every student playing in a game of hockey is required to wear glasses/goggles for eye protection
January - Team Pinball
Skills: throwing, catching, faking passes, shooting the ball to score, creating open space on offense, keeping hands and feet active on defense, knowing positions and proper rotation, and applying rules of pinball correctly
November (rest of month into the end of December) - fitness testing
Turkey Trot: walk, jog, and run as many laps as possible in 16 minutes
Skills: pacing, endurance, running with correct form

Day 1: Practice Pacer
Day 2: Push Up & Sit and Reach
Day 3: Curl Up & Flexed Arm Hang
Day 4: Shuttle Run & Trunk Lift
Day 5: Pacer test
If you would like to learn more about the Fitnessgram please click the button below. All students are responsible for making up the tests if they are absent from class. Make ups occur before school. After school make ups occur only if arranged by the student and teacher.

October (rest of month) - track & field
Skills: Broad jump, long jump, 4x100 relays, hurdles, ladders, throws (javelin, shotput, discus), 40 yard dash, 400m race
